Senior Software Engineer

Essential Functions

• Programs within multiple complex OLTP systems based on Linux / JAVA environment
• Ensures the efficient use of core services, packages, and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) in product teams
• Designs security protocols, including encryption or password protection, and ensures that they are appropriately applied to systems
• Provides leadership direction to product teams in latest technology, standards and processes
• Superior problem-solving skills and browser debugging capabilities
• Flexible and self-driven with a collaborative approach to problem-solving

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

• Excellent knowledge of the Java development language preferred
• Strong knowledge of agile development
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including documentation

Experience & Qualifications

• Bsc/Msc degree in IT, Computer Science/Engineering or related
• Minimum 3 years of working experience
• Exposure to banking domain will be an advantage
